Can a girl get some balance in her life?

This is the OT (school) cycle:

*Stress yourself out to the limit. Contemplate dropping out of school. Study until you go to bed. Consider joining Cirque du Solei (the circus for classy people).

*Take gigantic test(s). Complete assignments. Do some more assigments. Mail in scholarship applications.

*Turn in assignments. ... Contemplate starting new assignments, but realize you don't have enough information to do them yet. ... Twiddle thumbs ... WAIT FOR VACATION!

Unfortunately, these "lulls" always seem to happen right before vacations, so instead of days whizzing by with stuff left to do at the end of the day... I sit. And wait.

I know I shouldn't complain; and I'm not really... Someone has to keep Freetetris.org in business. Last night I even painted my nails red. I haven't done that in a LONG time.

I just wish they could space everything out a little better! It would significantly help my sanity!

Until I'm drowning in school work again,

Senia Jutila, OT/S

Since I haven't gotten too far into my "major" classes, I definitely am not that stressed out. However, I wholeheartedly agree with you about the "lull" business. Apparently our professors meet up with each other and plot to assign every test, lab, and paper so they are all due/scheduled within the same week. :) AND, it seems like when everyone else has extra homework or studying, I have no work. My vice is sudoku...What happened to spacing things out?
